Seated Position For Classical Guitar
You can either sit or stand while playing the guitar, and the which leg was that position you choose makes virtually no difference to your tone or technique, provided you maintain good guitar-playing posture. Most people prefer to sit while practicing but stand while performing publicly. The one exception to the sit or stand option is the classical guitar; the orthodox practice is to play in a seated position only.
